The Radiation Oncology team, one of the most progressive cancer treatment centers in the tri-state area, heartily welcomes Dr. Dhwani Parikh! Dr. Parikh’s earned her medical degree at the University of Connecticut, School of Medicine in Farmington, CT, and she interned at Yale-New Haven University Hospital, CT. Dr. Parikh completed her residency training in Radiation Oncology at New York Methodist Hospital and Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, serving as Chief Resident.
Dr. Parikh proceeded to practice Radiation Oncology in New York for a year before relocating to New Jersey.
Her comprehensive experience in treating all cancers, with a special interest in the treatment of cancers of the breast, prostate, lung, gastrointestinal system, and head and neck has led her to enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team of highly skilled, professional oncologists, surgeons, therapists and nurses. Furthermore, Dr. Parikh is highly trained in the use of Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), Intensity-modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Low-Dose Rate (LDR) and High-Dose-Rate (HDR) Brachytherapy, along with Accelerated Partial Breast Irradiation (APBI)
